Disney Recap

Well I've arrived safely back in the Metroplex after a weekend at Disney World. I was corrected on my use of "Disney World" early on. I said, "I'm excited to go to Disney World tomorrow!" I was told that we were already in Disney World and that we were going to the Magic Kingdom on Saturday. Silly me!

For someone who'd only been to a Disney park a few times in my life, I learned a few things:

1. Ordering a "Mickey Mouse Cocktail" is no laughing matter when you've been enjoying that drink since you were a child (it's a Shirley Temple).
2. Disney makes a ton of money.
3. My shoulders are great seats for small children on the parade route.
4. Take advantage of the Fast Pass
5. Mickey is an elusive creature (as are Minnie, Goofy, and Donald)
   
6. There may be a video of me screaming on the Tower of Terror
7. Disney doesn't make rides for people with long legs.

Anyway...I had a great time w/ Julie and her family. Now we're just waiting for the Davis clan to visit Dallas to meet her :)
