It's the beginning of another semester here in Dallas. That means another crop of fresh-faced seminary n00bs get to take Howard Hendricks' BE 101 class. In that class, he asks students to read Acts 1:8 and the context to come up with a certain number of observations.
When I did it, I struggled through, but I didn't try to take the easy way out. Unfortunately, I've caught some folks trying to take a shortcut. I was checking my site stats the other day and found a number of referrals from google searches for "Acts 1:8 Observations." The funny thing is, a number of these searches have come from China, where DTS has a new online program.
This has happened w/ every new semester I've been at DTS. Maybe Prof should put a new guideline in the syllabus.
